The towpath is an easy route, with little relief. Whether by mountain bike or hybrid bike, everyone can enjoy the ride at their own pace.
For the less sporty and/or those who want to cover more distance, opt for the electric bike.
To enjoy with the family and in complete safety, L'Ecluserie offers bikes adapted to all ages. For the little ones, you can also opt to rent a cart or a follower. These two pieces of equipment are compatible with our classic and electric bikes.

From L'Ecluserie, you can reach Pont-Augan en Baud by taking the greenway. The course is very pleasant and easy. It is 18 km without altitude differences that are entirely cyclable and safe. The walk is particularly suitable for families. Treasures of chapels dot the towpath.
Departing from the Ecluserie, join the Nantes to Brest canal in the Napoleonic city of Pontivy. This 18-kilometer itinerary is punctuated by locks and mills, in particular that of Roch. All meandering, the river meanders at the foot of green and steeped hills where a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere emanates.

We offer classic bikes, electric bikes to enjoy the Blavet effortlessly, as well as children’s bikes (20 and 24 inches). All our bikes are regularly maintained to ensure safety and comfort.
We recommend that you book in advance, especially during weekends and holiday periods, to be sure of having the desired type of bike.
The helmet is mandatory for children under 12 years old whether they are on a bike, a tracker, an infant seat or in a cart. It is recommended for adults. We provide the helmets free of charge for each rental.
It is possible to rent a bike for several days. In this specific case, please let us know the desired duration and your desired dates by email.
This may be possible depending on the availability of the bikes on the day of the service. It is advisable to ask us either at the time of the contract, or by phone before the scheduled return time.
Cyclists on a roaming trip, L'Ecluserie awaits you.
The Ecluserie is labeled Accueil Vélo. A repair and maintenance station is available within the lock house. You will also find something to eat on site or to take away and something to hydrate yourself.
If you need to stop by the night, we welcome you to our guest room.
The atmosphere at Blavet is particularly refreshing. Without any urban stress and far from the hustle and bustle of the coastline, you will enjoy 100% of your walk along the water, in the heart of nature. More good news: you will easily find benches here and there and shade! Before or after your walk, you can sit in the Ecluserie garden for a “hungry” break and quench your thirst!
